What's new
Onboarding now has a cockpit — one place to move your whole book through onboarding without pinging ops for status. Here's what's new:
- An Onboarding tab on Opportunities — every household you're onboarding, in one tracker with a live count.
- Status at a glance — each household carries a pill that tells you what's happening now, who you're waiting on, and the next step.
- Account Confirmation Task → Send — the path that takes a household from "just landed" to "with the client."
- Get unstuck yourself — blocked households come with a repair button, so most snags don't need ops.
- A household detail view — signatures, transfer progress, and every account in one drawer.

This guide is written for you, the advisor. The cockpit is your working surface for moving a book through onboarding — you don't hand it to the client. Steps follow what you see and click.

Core workflows
1. Finding your book in onboarding
Ops loads your transition book for you — households land here automatically, no upload step on your side.
Where to find it: Sidebar → Opportunities → Onboarding tab (shows a count, e.g. Onboarding · 12)
- Each row is a household, with Start date, Last contact, Est. AUM, Transferred, Status, Agreement (
IAA 1 of 2), and Accounts (3 of 5).
- The cards across the top read your book at a glance — Median onboarding time, AUM in flight, Complete this month, and Blocked right now.
- Hover any Status pill for three lines — Now, Waiting on, Suggested next.
- Filter by status or use "Search households…".
