What is Calendly?

Calendly is our client meeting scheduling tool. Your personal Calendly link can be found in your email signature as well as on the Savvy dashboard, so clients can easily schedule meetings with you.

It is integrated with your Savvy Google Calendar, so clients who use your Calendly link can only schedule meetings based on your availability on your Savvy Google Calendar. As such, we recommend always keeping your Savvy calendar up-to-date, and blocking off times/days when you are unavailable.

How do I use Calendly?

On your Calendly account, you’ll see that there are already 6 event types with an Admin managed label. These events are integrated with certain client-facing areas and tasks on the Savvy dashboard; and we recommend not deleting these.

The eye icon next to each event name indicates their visibility on your Calendly link. You’ll notice that only the 30 Minute Call does not have the eye icon and is thus visible on your personal scheduling link.

You typically will not use Calendly’s platform after you’ve finished customizing your scheduling settings (more details below). All you need is your Calendly link to share with clients or prospects, so they can proactively schedule meetings with you.

Best Practices

Before you share your Calendly link with clients, we highly recommend adjusting your availability and meeting settings to ensure clients schedule within your preferred timeframes. To update your settings, go to the Calendly link bookmarked on your Chrome browser.
