You can request clients to securely upload statements, as well as send auto-reminders to them at any time by creating a File upload task in the respective Household.
Navigate to the client household you wish to request files from, and click on the Task button.

Select Client task

Then select File upload

In the title, enter the file type(s) you are requesting from your client. If additional details are helpful, be sure to enter them in the instructions field (eg. ask client to upload a full account statement PDF and not just a screenshot of their account balance).

The title you enter will be reflected in the email subject line, ending with “requested by [advisor name].” For example, if you enter “Tax return 2024” in the title, the email subject line will show “Tax return 2024 requested by [advisor name]”

Make sure to confirm if you would like your client to receive auto-reminders to complete the task before clicking Create task. Note that clicking Create task does not yet send the email to your client – this will happen on the next step!

You can either choose to auto-generate an email from Savvy (with automatic email reminders if you enabled this option) or copy the file request link to personally email your client.

If you select the first option to send the task email from Savvy, your client will receive an email from Savvy Wealth ([email protected]) with your email on CC.

When your client clicks on the Upload files button in the email, they will immediately be taken to a new browser tab and prompted to log into their Savvy account.

After your client logs in, they will see the task request page such as the below with a prompt to upload their documents.

Your client can either drag-and-drop files here, or browse from their device.
