Draft / in progress. This guide is organized around the jobs to be done — what you're actually trying to accomplish — and we'll flesh out each section (with walkthrough videos and finer detail) over the course of the beta.

What's new

The Service Calendar connects a household's recurring commitments to the work that fulfills them. This beta focuses on a few connected improvements:

Jobs to be done

1. "Set up a service once, and have it run for every client"

The job: When I have a recurring commitment — an annual review, a quarterly rebalance, an RMD — I want to define it once so the right tasks, meetings, and workflows happen for every enrolled household, without rebuilding it each time.

How Savvy helps: A service is a reusable bundle of items — each one a Task, an Event (meeting), or a Workflow — with its own cadence and owner. Every household you enroll inherits the whole bundle.

Steps

  1. Go to Resources → Services → Create service
  2. Name it, pick an icon/color, and set Sharing (Personal or Team)
  3. Add service items — for each, choose the type (Task / Event / Workflow), cadence, and assignee
  4. Create

2. "Meet each client on a rhythm that fits them"

The job: When a client should be seen "every six months from the last time we met," I want the next occurrence to roll forward from when it actually happened — not a rigid date shared by everyone.
